Vulnerable

I open my mouth
But the words won’t come out
I attempt to reach
But something holds me back

I stay still for I know
I am vulnerable
I am weak
I am scared

I am scared to lose you
To lose what we once had
I can’t let you go
I won’t let it go to waste

But I am afraid to make a move
I am afraid to talk or ask
I am afraid of your rejection
I am just vulnerable
